As much as I love taking a few good shots of the coastal life, I can’t ignore the beauty of the rural life I’ve got. Being those mountains and country sights my day to day, sometimes I also feel the urge to capture the beautiful lights and colours that shine all around on the peaceful moments I go outdoors, even if it’s just to walk the pets.
These pictures were taken on one of those days when the sun was setting and creating a warm palette of colours.
Now, enjoy some folk vibes for a change!
Water reflections are always a favourite sight. Though Pumpkin the cat doesn’t like them very much.
When I get to spend some time on the outdoors I always feel grateful to be able to enjoy our beautiful landscapes. And I’m especially grateful for not living in the heart of a grey big city where those peaceful moments and sights are even more precious and harder to find.
May we all find a peaceful walk for each day, one that brings us closer to the world, keep us grounded and frees our minds.
I have no green thumb but I’m lucky enough that plants outside home live perfectly without my help and I even get to enjoy their fruits! How gratifying it is to collect food from the woods and wild plants. During this year I’ve learnt about many more plants that are edible and it is eye-opening to discover that you can buy your groceries, grow them and even find some in the wild.
Sweet snacks on the wild!
