When you have a screen to check many times a day, it’s only natural to want something beautiful to look at. Some people might choose a themed wallpaper, maybe something seasonal.
Personally, I love having photos of nice places. They don’t have to be my next bucket list destination—just a view that makes me feel good. A Mediterranean coastal photo, for instance, does the trick. I can imagine myself at the beach, any day, walking peacefully as the sunlight reflects off the sea’s surface, making everything feel a little warmer…
So, I turned some of my favorite shots into phone wallpapers. There’s the soft sea foam, the contrast of green against a clear blue sky, a fiery sunrise… Pick your favorite and bring a bit of that feeling to your screen!
It’s no secret that our devices are also a means to escape the daily grind. I wish using them wasn’t so addictive, but at least we can curate what we see. It’s a bit like the photographer’s work, to choose what to frame, what to include and what to leave out in order to get the desired result, a photo with certain mood, certain meaning.
