We all want, need, to be surrounded by beauty. And even thought the beauty we create through everyday objects, architecture, fashion, and design is wonderful, we may also need the unique beauty of nature itself.
There’s something fundamental about our connection to the natural world and how we feel in it. It’s not just about aesthetics – it’s about the way we thrive when surrounded by living things, clean air, and open skies. Every person should have the right to experience the Earth’s gifts in everyday life: the shade of trees, the greenery of plants, fresh water, the simple pleasure of natural materials, and the nourishment of healthy food grown in rich soil. It’s good for us in many levels, mentally and physically.
This is why I find myself constantly drawn to bringing the outdoors inside. And going outside to find the inspiration. Natural elements have become the heart of my creative expression – be through my drawings, paintings, and photography. There’s an endless well of inspiration in the patterns and textures that nature creates. And I get hooked by the feelings of calm, abundance and contentment they pass on. Although they will never match the real experience of spending time in the great outdoors.
Artistic explorations
It’s been a while since I last shared some art, so here we are with some of my latest projects! They took me time—both to make and to feel ready to show.
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with ink on plywood. I love the organic feel of it, though once the ink dries, the contrast is way lower than I expected. Still, that challenge led me to explore semi-abstract, collage-like compositions, which turned out to be a really fun process.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but working on these paintings actually prepared me for the drawings on the bowl (here below). After my small mirror decorations, I wanted to try something on a larger surface, and I finally decided on a floral design. The texture of the bowl added an unexpected detail to the piece, turning something ordinary into something special.

Now I’m working on a painting that follows this same creative path, and I can’t wait to finish it and share it with you!
Sea you soon, with new creations! 😉
